sorry to keep posting videos about movies, but i am so excited for "julie & julia", and this video from style.com just made me even more excited! it comes out august 5th, i think, in the states. i really want to be in a nora ephron movie one day!

all the world's a stage

saw "as you like it" at the globe last night...it was absolutely magic. the globe is so amazing, and everyone in the show was great! i wish i could've found better production stills. but don't you love rosalind's haircut? and orlando - i swoon!

saw the amazing production of "the winter's tale" last night at the RSC in stratford-upon-avon. so beautiful and brilliantly acted! and the set design was so clever with all the books - and the bear was so great! couldn't find any pictures of him, though.

goodbye, darling

lucky enough to see the touring production of "brief encounter" tonight at the oxford playhouse. it was so beautiful and creative and unusual ~ i loved it! above is the trailer, put together by the kneehigh theater company. makes me want to go watch the original film, as well as buy a lot of noel coward records.

also in love with harry potter, which i saw last night. it's definitely the best of the films so far. there were so many great moments! makes me want to re-read all the books.

looks from the upcoming gossip-girl-inspired anna sui for target collection. i think it's pretty obvious which girls go with which dresses ( i.e. that stripey number is just itching for raccoon eyes and a bony collarbone, no?) hopefully the fabric and construction make them as cool as they look - i've been really disappointed with the target designer collaborations as of late. the collection hits stores sept. 13.
