his book is amazing - i already put post-its on my favorite pages for those what-should-i-wear mornings...these are from a fashion editorial he shot - i think its a fun blend of his style and of-the-moment magazine fodder.

on my way to oxford this summer, my shampoo exploded in my bag. i marched into boots to locate a replacement and found this lovely line of products. created by brit celebrity stylist james brown (that's him with his best friend, kate moss, who inspired the range), the whole line smells light and amazing and makes my hair super soft and shiny. it's available in GBPs on his website, but i think i'm just going to have my sister mail me some more....

all the world's a stage

saw "as you like it" at the globe last night...it was absolutely magic. the globe is so amazing, and everyone in the show was great! i wish i could've found better production stills. but don't you love rosalind's haircut? and orlando - i swoon!

saw the amazing production of "the winter's tale" last night at the RSC in stratford-upon-avon. so beautiful and brilliantly acted! and the set design was so clever with all the books - and the bear was so great! couldn't find any pictures of him, though.

goodbye, darling

lucky enough to see the touring production of "brief encounter" tonight at the oxford playhouse. it was so beautiful and creative and unusual ~ i loved it! above is the trailer, put together by the kneehigh theater company. makes me want to go watch the original film, as well as buy a lot of noel coward records.

looks from the upcoming gossip-girl-inspired anna sui for target collection. i think it's pretty obvious which girls go with which dresses ( i.e. that stripey number is just itching for raccoon eyes and a bony collarbone, no?) hopefully the fabric and construction make them as cool as they look - i've been really disappointed with the target designer collaborations as of late. the collection hits stores sept. 13.
